Classics 4 Kids


Have you ever seen a few thousand kids excited and applauding for more at a classical music concert!? If not, you’ve never been to one given by San Diego’s Classics 4 Kids. Each year our docents prepare thousands of students to make C4K concerts a valuable and entertaining experience.

The San Diego Symphony

Each year our docents prepare thousands of students to make the Symphony's Young Peoples Concerts a valuable and entertaining experience. AFCM also provides scholarships of up to $1000 to winners of the Symphony's annual "Hot Shots" Young Artists Competition.

The San Diego Youth Symphony


The San Diego Youth Symphony, founded in 1945, includes nearly 700 musicians from ages 8 to 25.
The Symphony's Community Opus Project provides music programs for at-risk youths.

AmateurPianists


AmateurPianists is a non-profit organization that provides performance opportunities for amateur pianists. Since its formation, membership has grown to more than 850 piano enthusiasts, the largest such group in the world. To learn more visit AmateurPianists.

The Music Therapy Center of California


The Music Therapy Center of California is a leading San Diego area provider of music therapy, and music lessons for youths with special needs, retirees and many others. Workshops, camps, in-services and presentations are also offered.
